Funderhorns is a horn section primarily made up of Wes Funderburk (trombone), Will Scruggs (saxophones) & Ken Watters (trumpet). This newly-formed horn section has already recorded with Natalie Cole, Kelis, Andrew Black, Mimi Thomas & many other icons in the current popular music world. Funderhorns are the house horn section at D.A.R.P. (Dallas Austin Recording Projects) based in Atlanta, Georgia. They have primarily recorded under the production supervision of Dallas Austin, Oliver Wood & Gail Deadrick. The section recently performed sold-out concerts as part of Natalie Cole's touring band at The Variety Playhouse (Atlanta) & The Apollo (NYC). Funderhorns have the ability to arrange & read charts very quickly PLUS invent impromptu horn arrangements on the spot ("on the fly")...
